The planning team for the project shall be composed of thirty one (31) local school board members and local school superintendents. The members represent a cross-section of school districts from throughout the state. Small, medium, and large school districts from all regions of the state are represented. Urban, suburban, and rural districts have representation. Districts serving high and low Socio-Economic Status populations, those that are culturally diverse, and those with high and low property wealth are included. Twenty-five school districts are represented on the planning team. These districts enroll approximately 25 percent of the state’s student population.
Additional members may be selected by the executive committee upon the recommendation of the executive directors.
